Server Engineer is responsible for implementing, maintaining, debugging and optimizing code for numerous server-side systems. Examples of responsibilities include load balancing, logging, performance optimization, low-level networking and security systems. You have to work closely with other engineers and designers to make our products awesome.<\/p>\n

Job descriptions<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Work with team leads and designers to define server performance requirements for the developed products.<\/li>\n
  2. Implement, maintain, optimize and debug code for different systems on the server.<\/li>\n
  3. Improve software pipelines, working closely with other engineers, to increase overall team productivity.<\/li>\n
  4. Facilitate communication between engineering, design, and other departments.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Job requirements<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    The programmer must:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Possess knowledge of the most current C++\/C# programming techniques.<\/li>\n
    2. Have good knowledge of technology.\n
        \n
      1. TCP, UDP, HTTP<\/li>\n
      2. Web security<\/li>\n
      3. Understand test-driven development<\/li>\n
      4. Load balancing algorithm<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      5. Excellent debugging, optimization and networking skills especially in distributed \/ multithreaded environment.<\/li>\n
      6. A deep knowledge of client\/server systems, performance trade-offs, and best-practices.<\/li>\n
      7. Strong experience building high-load server infrastructure.<\/li>\n
      8. Have a working knowledge of FTP (file transfer protocol)<\/li>\n
      9. Have strong verbal and visual communications skills.<\/li>\n
      10. Excellent organization and time-management skills.<\/li>\n
      11. Understanding of how to work on large teams in a deadline-driven environment.<\/li>\n
      12. At least 3-years??? related professional experience.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Nice to Have:<\/strong><\/p>\n

          \n
        1. MSc\/BSc in Computer science<\/li>\n
        2. Familiarity with Apache server is helpful<\/li>\n
        3. Familiarity with Joomla!<\/li>\n
        4. Experience in electronic billing system<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Good Mathematics skills (A Level and above)<\/p>\n
